Bicycles
Explore the area on two wheels! We offer bicycles for rent at the front office for just $18 per 24 hours. Each bike comes equipped with a basket, light, and lock. Rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so no need to make a reservation. Enjoy your ride!
Barbeque Area
A complimentary gas grill and picnic table are available for all our guests. There are local markets nearby or cook your catch. Regretfully, the barbeque cannot be reserved in advance.
Papa Jack’s Pool Bar
Join us at Papa Jack’s Pool Bar for a refreshing and relaxing experience! We’re open Thursday through Sunday from 3 PM to 8 PM.
Happy Hour
Enjoy fantastic deals from 3 PM to 5 PM.

Breakfast
We serve a small continental breakfast every morning. We have coffee, pastries, fruit, and other small items from 8 AM-11 AM. Breakfast time and products served change throughout the year.

Free wireless internet access including cable tv is available in our guest rooms/ suites, pool, and common areas.
Concierge Service
Let us help you book your activities such as water sports, restaurant reservations, and all your other Key West activities. There is always something fun and exciting to experience. Call us prior to your trip for a special rate.
Housekeeping
Our housekeeping service is pleased to make up your room daily. IF you are traveling with your pet and would like to have the room serviced, please arrange a time with the front desk when you and your pet will be out of the room. Our staff is focused on disinfecting high-touch areas along with showcasing a commitment to high levels of cleanliness and diligently following all sanitization guidelines.
Noise
The hotel is in a residential neighborhood and maintains an atmosphere of peace and quiet, especially during late night hours. Please be courteous to other guests and our surrounding neighbors when on the property.
Parking
Limited free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. When all spaces are taken in the back parking lot we have safe street parking. Expect parking difficulties during holidays and special events. Be careful not to park in marked “Permit Only” or “Residential Only” spaces which are reserved for specially-tagged vehicles and locals.
Pets
Dogs and cats (Max 2 per room) are welcome in specific rooms when available.
The nightly rate is:
Pets up to 40 pounds – $35.00 + tax per night.
Pets from 40-60 pounds (or 2 pets under 40 pounds) – $45.00 + tax per night.
Pets 60+ pounds – $55.00 + tax per night.
Long Term Stay Pet Policy:
4 nights & over (pets up to 40 pounds) – $125.00/stay
4 nights & over (pets from 40 – 60 pounds) – $150.00/stay
4 nights & over (pets 60+ pounds) – $185.00/stay
We have limited pet-friendly rooms, call in advance to check availability.
Most designated rooms allow individual pets up to 40 pounds with a specific few that can accommodate up to 75 pounds and up.
Fees are waived for Service Animals with appropriate service animal certification and identification card. ESA must still pay the pet fee.
We accept all breeds with a weight limit of up to 100lbs, as long as they are housebroken and well behaved. If the pet is over 40 pounds or if the guest has two pets, please call the hotel directly to book; there are limited rooms that accommodate large or multiple pets.
Excessive damages due to non-housebroken behavior will be charged additionally to the credit card on file. We reserve the right to refuse service to guests with a disruptive dog with no refund on outstanding nights. Dogs cannot be left alone in the room unless crated. In the event that barking occurs while you are out, you must be reachable via cell phone and be able to return to the hotel once notified within 20 minutes and will not be able to leave the dog unattended for the duration of your stay.
For guests, planning to be on a water sports venture or have other plans that would render them unable to return in our set time frame please see the pet sitters listed on our activities page. We apologize, but at this time we do not have crates available for rent on the property. Pool
The pool is open to registered guests from 8 am to 10 pm and is heated seasonally. If we receive noise complaints, the pool will be closed for the night and guests asked to return to their rooms. GLASS IS NOT PERMITTED ANYWHERE IN THE POOL OR GARDEN AREA. You and your party are responsible for the alcohol brought and consumed on the property. Please use the trash cans provided. Thank you.
Smoking
For the comfort and safety of our guests, all rooms at The Palms Hotel are non-smoking.
Smoking is permitted only in designated areas. No smoking in the rooms or balconies or else a fine could incur.
Spring Break
At The Palms Hotel, we strive to ensure all our guests have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. During Spring Break, we ask for your cooperation in maintaining a peaceful environment by avoiding excessive noise and late-night parties. For those looking to continue the celebration, Duval Street is the perfect spot!
Noise and Disturbance Policy
To ensure a pleasant stay for all our guests, we enforce a strict policy regarding noise and disturbances:
- Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are enforced from 10 PM to 8 AM. During these times, we ask that all guests keep noise to a minimum to respect the comfort of others.
- Immediate Action: If a guest or group is reported for causing excessive noise or disturbances, our staff will first issue a warning. If the behavior continues or if the disturbance is deemed severe, the group will be asked to leave the property immediately.
- No Refund Policy: Guests or group who are asked to leave due to noise or disturbance issues will not receive a refund for their stay.
- Damage to Property: Any damage caused during such disturbances will be deducted from the security deposit. Guests or groups responsible for property damage will also be required to leave the property immediately. Any costs exceeding the deposit amount will be charged to the guest.
Age Restriction Policy
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests, we have the following age-related guidelines:
- Guests Under 21: All guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during their stay.
- Identification: A valid ID will be required at check-in to verify age and confirm the presence of a parent or guardian.
- Security Deposit: A $200 deposit per room is required at check-in for guests aged 25 and under. This deposit covers potential property damage and will be refunded after check-out, provided there are no issues.
